The Most Important Function Of A Balance Bar Is To Achieve Controlled Balance

The function of the torsion beam balance bar is to achieve controlled balance and limit the body roll during turns, improve tire adhesion to the ground, and prevent the car from overturning during driving.

What is the function of a car balance bar? The most important function of a balance bar is to achieve controlled balance and limit the body's roll during turns, in order to improve tire adhesion to the ground. When turning, the suspension of the curved inner wheel elongates, while the suspension of the curved outer wheel compresses, causing torque suppression on the balance bar.

1. Front wheel lower arm - designed to be installed at an independent connection between the front axle and the front wheel, its main function is to control the inner and outer inclination of the front wheel;

2. Steering toe balance rod (an important part of the original car) - designed and installed on the lower swing arms of both front wheels, controlling the overall symmetry of the front wheels. The main function is to be responsible for the front wheel tilt angle and maintain the tracking ability of the steering wheel;

3. The balance rod at the top of the front wheel suspension tower (commonly known as the top passenger car in Hong Kong and Macau). Optional parts - designed and installed on top of the front shock absorber tower. The main function is to enhance the rigidity of the engine compartment and front body, counteract the deformation of the frame caused by centrifugal lateral torque (severe deformation can cause tower top tearing), improve the vehicle's turning ability, increase turning speed, and reduce the body roll angle caused by centrifugal force;

4. Front bottom crossbeam balance rod (commonly known as front bottom bar). Optional parts - Design and install the connecting part between the front axle of the frame and the chassis. Its main function is to strengthen the connection strength between the front bottom crossbeam (front axle) and the chassis, reduce the displacement and deformation of the front axle caused by centrifugal force and body deformation, and improve turning performance;

5. The rear shock absorber tower top balance rod (commonly known as the rear top bar). Optional parts - designed and installed on the top of the rear shock absorber tower. The main function is to enhance the strength of the trunk, reduce the lateral distortion of the rear of the carriage caused by centrifugal force, reduce the degree of tilting of the rear of the car during turns, and improve the turning performance of the vehicle;
